Easy ColorQA System The Easy ColorQA System is meant
for interior designers, architects, graphic artists and professional
painters.

This system is a color library of 35 different color palettes including most top architectural paints and RAL and PMS. The purpose of the system is to find what color is closest to your color in any of these color decks. It can be used in packaging and printing and by anyone using RAL or PMS. It may also be used to find the closest paint color in a number of architectural paint color decks. The system comes with a precalibrated ColorQA with TCS (True Color Sensor) with USB, Easy Software and accessories, including USB cable, stabilizing base and battery.

The ColorQA System for Custom Color Tables Get one ColorQA True Color Sensor device with USB and BOTH software packages, the Pro III System and the Easy System. Use the two software systems together and have the functionality of both systems independently as well as be able to create your own custom color library in your Easy ColorQA System. Install both software packages and measure your custom colors with the Pro III System and then save. The user may choose to save to the EasyQA System, and all data is automatically installed in you EasyQA System. You now have any colors of your choosing in a custom look-up library that will allow you to find a closest known color to any color you want to measure. You may add formulas for your colors after saving.
PocketSpec ColorQA™ Series 3
ColorQA Series 3 is a color comparison device that digitally measures
the color of a Target Color and then allows the user to sample any
number of comparison colors to determine a color match. It is light
weight, portable, hand held and battery operated. Colors are read
by pressing the tip of the ColorQA against the surface of the colored
material to be read. The results of the color measurement are displayed
on an LCD screen. The screen shows the read out for the Target Color
on the first line, the read out of the Sample Color on the second
line and the differences in the two colors are shown on lines 3
and 4. Line three shows the simple numerical differences in color
and line 4 shows the difference in the two colors expressed in a
percent difference: The ColorQA Series 3 compares readings and expresses
the final result in one "% diff" reading result. The three
color zones measured by the ColorQA version 3.0 are Red, Green and

PocketSpec ColorQA™ Series 4
ColorQA Series 4 is a color comparison device that digitally measures
the color of a Target Color and then allows the user to sample any
number of comparison colors to determine a color match. It is light
weight, portable, hand held and battery operated. Colors are read
by pressing the tip of the ColorQA against the surface of the color
to be read and pushing the read button. The results of the color
comparison are displayed on an LCD screen. The screen shows the
read out for the Target Color on the first line, the read out for
the Sample Color on the second line and the differences in the two
colors are shown on lines 3 and 4. Line 3 shows the simple numerical
differences in color and line 4 shows the differences expressed
in a percent difference for each of the three color zones being
evaluated. The three color zones measured by the ColorQA Series
4 are Red, Green and Blue.

**The difference between Series 3 and Series 4 is that Series 3
shows the percent difference expressed in terms of ONE calculation
of percent difference. The Series 4 ColorQA calculates the differences
between the Target and Sample with THREE separate percent difference
calculation of each color zone.
PocketSpec ColorQA TCS with USB
Color measurement device that uses the True Color Sensor that imitates
the tristimulus curve for absolute color measurement.
ColorQA Series 4 with USB, includes a 10 foot cable and USB drivers
on a disk together with communication protocol for user development.

Calibration is done as a first step every time the ColorQA is turned
on. Calibration is done by simply reading the calibration cap once.
The calibration cap is strapped to the tip of the ColorQA. If the
calibration cap becomes discolored, chipped or dirty the ColorQA
will not calibrate correctly.
Batteries for the ColorQA (6 batteries) The ColorQA
Series 3 and 4 run on J cell batteries. The ColorQA with USB uses
J cell batteries if and when it is disconnected from the computer.

T-Strips (pack of 100) T-Strips
are paper coated in optically stable material. They may be used
as a base for transmissive coating materials such as varnish to
measure the differences in batches or mixtures. They are specially
coated to act as a stable white background for color for measurement.
